Low Tide Retreat

This waterfront residence represents the first chapter in a comprehensive whole-home remodel, guided by a desire to create spaces that feel both timeless and deeply connected to their natural setting. Part one of the renovation focuses on establishing a cohesive design language—one rooted in warmth, restraint, and thoughtful detail—setting the foundation for the home’s continued transformation.

Throughout the space, warm wood tones are layered with soft sage accents to echo the surrounding landscape, creating a palette that feels calm, organic, and enduring. Brushed nickel finishes introduce a subtle sheen, offering a modern counterpoint to the natural materials without overpowering them. Elevated lighting selections play a pivotal role, adding depth and dimension while highlighting architectural features and enhancing the home’s relationship to light and water.

Every decision was made with longevity and livability in mind, balancing refined craftsmanship with an approachable sense of comfort. This first phase establishes a clear vision for the home—one that seamlessly blends modern sophistication with coastal ease—while laying the groundwork for future phases to unfold with continuity, intention, and quiet elegance.
